System summary
HypeVault runs as a real-time event bus on top of Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. Every platform event (follow, sub, gift, cheer, raid, super chat, chat message) gets normalized into a single internal shape, then fanned out to your overlays over WebSocket and to your chat games over a server-side game runner.
Real-money flows (tips, card-shop purchases, viewer-to-streamer subscriptions, the platform Paid tier) all run through Stripe. For streamer earnings, HypeVault uses Stripe Connect destination charges: the streamer's share routes directly to their connected Stripe Express account at the moment of purchase — no internal payout queue, no minimum, no monthly batch.
On top of the cash layer is Loyalty Gems — a free per-streamer loyalty-points system viewers earn by chatting, playing cards, and interacting on linked platforms. Gems aren't a currency and have no cash value; they unlock Gem-priced card packs, jumpscare cards, and chaos cards on the streamer's channel.
The rest of the platform — events, overlays, games, marathon, cards, gift drops, Companion App — runs entirely on HypeVault infrastructure.
