Payouts
HypeVault pays out monthly through Stripe Connect with a $50 minimum. Funds land on your connected Stripe balance, and Stripe sends them to your bank on its default schedule.
How to set up
- Open Dashboard → Payouts.
- Click Continue Stripe Connect onboarding. (Already onboarded for tips? You're done — same account.)
- Complete the Stripe Express onboarding (KYC, bank account, tax forms).
- Once verified, your balance starts accumulating toward the $50 minimum.
Cadence
On the 1st of each month, if your unpaid balance is at least $50, a payout request is queued and we transfer it to your Stripe Connect balance. From there, Stripe pays out to your bank on its default schedule (daily or weekly — configurable in your Stripe dashboard).
Balance below the minimum
If you finish a month under $50, your balance rolls forward. It never expires. Once you cross $50 in any future month, the next 1st you're eligible.
Manual payout request
On the Payouts page you can request a payout any time you're above the minimum outside the monthly cadence. Approval takes 1 business day.
Tax
Stripe handles KYC + tax reporting per US/international regulations. US streamers will receive a 1099-MISC from Stripe if they cross the IRS threshold in a calendar year.
